#CREATEANDINSPIRE || BOYCE AVENUE / by Lane Smith

It was a busy week in Anaheim, California. Disneyland celebrated its 60th birthday, VidCon gathered thousands of creatives at the Convention Center, and Boyce Avenue played two packed shows at the House of Blues. Thanks to the friendly team at Boyce Avenue, I was able to get in with a press pass and surprisingly had the whole photo pit to myself.  The event was called #createandinspire and since that's what No Anchor's all about, I thought I'd do a quick write up of the show.

After some well-performed acoustic sets from Andrew Garcia and Alex & Sierra, the anticipation was rising. With phones in the air awaiting their arrival, the band bursts on stage, opening with their original 'Speed Limits'.

After performing a few more originals and almost taking some confetti cannons to the face to get the shot, I left for the balcony and the band began to slow things down with On My Way and a few covers like Story of My Life, Chasing Cars, and more. Then it hit me... I was starving for some In N Out, so I made my way out. It was an incredible night full of music and inspiration. If you are unfamiliar with Boyce Avenue, you can find their music primarily on Youtube and Spotify.
